Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of HKD 19,125.00 (€ 2,127.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Do Xuan Doan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Country Road in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,505.97).

Die Arbeit The Village of Yellow Flowers von Do Xuan Doan kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 19.125,00 (€ 2.127,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden.
