Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Boyar And His Wife by Dmitry Stelletsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 35,000.00 – 55,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 57,725.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dmitry Stelletsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work De L'Aube À La Nuit in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 401,000.00 (€ 544,538.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Boyar And His Wife von Dmitry Stelletsky kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 57.725,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dmitry Stelletsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De L'Aube À La Nuit im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 401.000,00 (€ 544.538,72).
