Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Dimitri Kolujni could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work The Chinese parasol changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 934.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Dimitri Kolujni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Morning After in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,346.11).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Dimitri Kolujni konnte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit The Chinese parasol für GBP 750,00 (€ 934,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dimitri Kolujni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Morning After im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.346,11).
