Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dirk Stoop could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work Horsemen In A Landscape changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,618.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dirk Stoop - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scontro tra cavalieri turchi e cristiani, e tra cavalieri cristiani e fanterie turche a destra sullo sfondo, which sold at auction in June 2002 for EUR 18,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dirk Stoop konnte im Januar 2012 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Horsemen In A Landscape für USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.618,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
