The price achieved of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 19,437.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy In Regular Script is the most expensive artwork by Ding Ruchang that we have observed at auctions so far.
