A top price for Ding Erzhong - as previously expected
The work Pomegranate by Ding Erzhong was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,378.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Pomegranate is the most expensive artwork by Ding Erzhong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Pomegranate von Ding Erzhong kam im Oktober 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.378,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Pomegranate das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ding Erzhong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
