Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Awaiting The Warrior'S Return by Dimitri Kolujni was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,188.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dimitri Kolujni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Morning After in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,346.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Awaiting The Warrior'S Return von Dimitri Kolujni kam im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.188,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dimitri Kolujni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Morning After im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.346,11).
