Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Noda Dalam Rona (Stain In Colour) by Dikdik Sayahdikumullah was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,443.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dikdik Sayahdikumullah have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Opti in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,316.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Noda Dalam Rona (Stain In Colour) von Dikdik Sayahdikumullah wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.443,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dikdik Sayahdikumullah auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Opti im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.316,51).
