Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (N°3 From The Series Erinnerungsspur), 1979 by Dieter Appelt was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in September 2018. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,375.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dieter Appelt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Forth Bridge - Cinema. Metric Space' in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 49,165.28).

Die Arbeit Untitled (N°3 From The Series Erinnerungsspur), 1979 von Dieter Appelt kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.375,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dieter Appelt erzielen.
