Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,465.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean-Didier Debut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Porteur D'Eau Tunisien in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 6,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Porteur d'eau tunisien von Jean-Didier Debut kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.465,88) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
