Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Komposition" (Composition) by Dick Beer was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 6,396.43). Other works by Dick Beer have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2011 by the work "Komposition" (Composition) at SEK 100,000.00 (€ 11,091.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Komposition" (Composition) von Dick Beer im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 6.396,43) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Dick Beer wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit "Komposition" (Composition) mit SEK 100.000,00 (€ 11.091,99).
