Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Personnages De Rêve, 1991 by Diatta Seck. The price achieved of EUR 3,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 4,500.00. Other works by Diatta Seck have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Sans Titre, 1994 was auctioned for EUR 4,986.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personnages De Rêve, 1991 von Diatta Seck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Diatta Seck konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1994 für EUR 4.986,00 versteigert.
