Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century EuropeanArt, which included the work A Young Beauty By A Fountain by Diana Coomans. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,125.00. Admittedly, works by Diana Coomans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Entertaining the pharaoh's daughter in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 13,445.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Young Beauty By A Fountain von Diana Coomans zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Diana Coomans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Entertaining the pharaoh's daughter im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 13.445,71).
