The price achieved of USD 2,394.00 (€ 2,447.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dharmanarayan Dasgupta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Man With Flower Pot) in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,702.33).
