A top price for Dharmanarayan Dasgupta - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Man With Flower Pot) by Dharmanarayan Dasgupta was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,702.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Man With Flower Pot) is the most expensive artwork by Dharmanarayan Dasgupta that we have observed at auctions so far.
