Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Preparations for Galungan and Kuningan festival, with Barong Landung characters by Dewa Putu Bedil was sold in the Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dewa Putu Bedil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fish market by the beach in October 2000 with an auction result of SGD 18,800.00 (€ 12,610.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Preparations for Galungan and Kuningan festival, with Barong Landung characters von Dewa Putu Bedil wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dewa Putu Bedil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fish market by the beach im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SGD 18.800,00 (€ 12.610,13).
