The work The Hunt by Desmond Morris was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,560.00 (€ 2,966.48), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Desmond Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Courtship in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 56,250.00.

Die Arbeit The Hunt von Desmond Morris wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.560,00 (€ 2.966,48) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Desmond Morris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Courtship im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 56.250,00.
