This artwork by Derek Hill achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work French Landscape sold for GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,691.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Derek Hill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Professor R.B. Mc Dowell leaving the Rubrics, Trinity College, Dublin in May 2001 with an auction result of GBP 23,500.00 (€ 39,398.29).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Derek Hill erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit French Landscape für GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.691,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Derek Hill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Professor R.B. Mc Dowell leaving the Rubrics, Trinity College, Dublin im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.500,00 (€ 39.398,29).
