A top price for Denys Puech - as previously expected
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work La Sirene by Denys Puech. The price achieved of USD 23,940.00 (€ 20,554.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Sirene is the most expensive artwork by Denys Puech that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Sirene von Denys Puech zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.940,00 (€ 20.554,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist La Sirene das teuerste Kunstwerk von Denys Puech, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
