In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work The Clemency of Faustina sold for USD 37,800.00 (€ 31,149.57) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Denys Calvaert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Holy Family With Saint John The Baptist And An Angel in January 2018 with an auction result of USD 591,000.00 (€ 475,539.11).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Denys Calvaert erzielen.
