In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work The Hunter's Moon sold for USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,441.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dennis Sheehan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Painter's Moon sold at auction in May this year with the realized price of USD 1,792.00 (€ 1,682.00).
