Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art & Dreaming Spires; Watercolours of Oxford and Cambridge Colleges, which included the work Mansfield College, Library by Dennis Roxby Bott. The price achieved of GBP 660.00 (€ 979.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Other works by Dennis Roxby Bott have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2006 the work Mansfield College, Mansfield Quad was auctioned for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,068.57).

Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art & Dreaming Spires; Watercolours of Oxford and Cambridge Colleges durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mansfield College, Library von Dennis Roxby Bott zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 660,00 (€ 979,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Dennis Roxby Bott konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2006 die Arbeit Mansfield College, Mansfield Quad für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.068,57) versteigert.
