Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work On the Banks of the Oise by Dennis Miller Bunker. It changed hands for a price of USD 171,000.00 (€ 183,319.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dennis Miller Bunker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Winter'S Tale Of Sprites And Goblins, which sold at auction in June 2020 for USD 596,000.00 (€ 530,674.03).

Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the Banks of the Oise von Dennis Miller Bunker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 171.000,00 (€ 183.319,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dennis Miller Bunker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Winter'S Tale Of Sprites And Goblins beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für USD 596.000,00 (€ 530.674,03) versteigert wurde.
