Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rock Creek Lake by Dennis Doheny was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,577.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dennis Doheny - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work South Coast Splendor, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 27,812.50 (€ 24,641.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rock Creek Lake von Dennis Doheny kam im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.577,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dennis Doheny mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit South Coast Splendor beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 27.812,50 (€ 24.641,18) versteigert wurde.
