In May 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Nature Morte Au Citron Sur Un Entablement by Denis Pierre Bergeret. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,487.00 65% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Denis Pierre Bergeret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Asparagus in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,325.82).

Im Mai 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte Au Citron Sur Un Entablement von Denis Pierre Bergeret zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.487,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denis Pierre Bergeret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Asparagus im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.325,82).
