Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 562.50 (€ 656.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Denis Chernov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hot summer II, which sold at auction in August 2007 for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,951.31).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 562,50 (€ 656,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Denis Chernov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hot summer II beobachtet, die im August 2007 für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.951,31) versteigert wurde.
