Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sutra in Kaishu by Deng Erya was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 7,708.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Deng Erya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sutra in Kaishu von Deng Erya wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 7.708,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Deng Erya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60).
