Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seal by Deng Erya was auctioned at POLY in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 12,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,611.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deng Erya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seal von Deng Erya kam im April 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 12.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.611,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deng Erya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60).
