Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Essays In Regular Script by Deng Erya. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,142.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Deng Erya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Essays In Regular Script von Deng Erya zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.142,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Deng Erya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60).
