This artwork by Deng Erya achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy In Running Script sold for HKD 68,440.00 (€ 7,221.51) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 32,000.00. Admittedly, works by Deng Erya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seal Script Calligraphy in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Deng Erya erzielte im April 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script für HKD 68.440,00 (€ 7.221,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 32.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Deng Erya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seal Script Calligraphy im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60).
