In May 2000 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction California, Western and American Paintings, which included the work Billowing Desert Clouds by Dedrick Brandes Stuber. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,812.50 (€ 9,447.36). With this result, Billowing Desert Clouds is even the most expensive work of art by Dedrick Brandes Stuber that we have observed at auctions so far.
