Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Trying To Grow by Dede Eri Supria. The price achieved of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 11,637.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dede Eri Supria - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fab Four, which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 27,972.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trying To Grow von Dede Eri Supria zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 11.637,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dede Eri Supria mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fab Four beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 27.972,72) versteigert wurde.
