Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Lapu by Deborah Butterfield. Here, the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 305,300.00 (€ 279,886.32). Other works by Deborah Butterfield have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 468,500.00 (€ 442,900.36) in November 2016 for the work Setsuko.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lapu von Deborah Butterfield zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 305.300,00 (€ 279.886,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Deborah Butterfield haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 468.500,00 (€ 442.900,36) im November 2016 für die Arbeit Setsuko beobachtet.
