Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Views of Eastern Parts of Rajputana Rajasthan, 1885', 1885 by Lala Deen Dayal was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,116.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lala Deen Dayal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Views of Central India', 1880s in March last year with an auction result of GBP 19,000.00 (€ 22,526.64).

Die Arbeit 'Views of Eastern Parts of Rajputana Rajasthan, 1885', 1885 von Lala Deen Dayal kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.116,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lala Deen Dayal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Views of Central India', 1880s im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.000,00 (€ 22.526,64).
