Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work The Cave by David Yarrow. The price achieved of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,680.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Yarrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amboseli Kenya, which sold at auction in April 2019 for USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,857.60).
