Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rajasthan by David Yarrow was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,828.41), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Yarrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amboseli Kenya, which sold at auction in April 2019 for USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,857.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rajasthan von David Yarrow wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.828,41) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von David Yarrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amboseli Kenya beobachtet, die im April 2019 für USD 106.250,00 (€ 94.857,60) versteigert wurde.
