Auction result well in line with expectations
The work American Idol, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming by David Yarrow was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,042.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Yarrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amboseli Kenya in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,857.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit American Idol, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming von David Yarrow kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 23.042,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Yarrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amboseli Kenya im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 94.857,60).
