Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by David Wu Ject-Key was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,502.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Wu Ject-Key achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies Under The Pine in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,498.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von David Wu Ject-Key kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.502,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Wu Ject-Key erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies Under The Pine im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.498,73).
