Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Hillbilly by David Wu Ject-Key for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,078.01). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Chinese Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Wu Ject-Key achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies Under The Pine in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,498.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hillbilly von David Wu Ject-Key für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.078,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Wu Ject-Key erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies Under The Pine im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.498,73).
