Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In The Lagoon At Mfuwe, Luangwa Valley by David Shepherd was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,252.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Shepherd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After the Rains - Evening in the Luangwa Valley, Zambia in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 115,250.00 (€ 142,135.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In The Lagoon At Mfuwe, Luangwa Valley von David Shepherd kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.252,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Shepherd erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After the Rains - Evening in the Luangwa Valley, Zambia im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 115.250,00 (€ 142.135,26).
