The work Fumeurs Dans Une Taverne by David Ryckaert was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings auction at Artcurial in March 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,600.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by David Ryckaert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Schlafender Alter. in July 2015 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.

Die Arbeit Fumeurs Dans Une Taverne von David Ryckaert wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.600,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Ryckaert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Schlafender Alter. im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
