Auction result well in line with expectations
The work France by David Rolt was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in February 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 725.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by David Rolt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Lady In Red, In A Library in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,081.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit France von David Rolt wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 725,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
