Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mass Movement I by David Koloane was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,106.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Koloane have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Made In South Africa (Pink) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,648.28).
