It achieved a price of USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,259.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Gilhooly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Group of seventeen sculptures, which sold at auction in December 2017 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,715.69).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 8.259,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Für andere Arbeiten von David Gilhooly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Group of seventeen sculptures beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.715,69) versteigert wurde.
