In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work Lakeside by David Graham, R.B.A.. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 600.00 (€ 890.48), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by David Graham, R.B.A. have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,125.76) in April 2006 for the work A picnic on the beach.
