Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Photographing Herself - 2009 by David Drebin was sold in the Photography Collection of Amedeo M. Turello auction at Artcurial in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Drebin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Movie Star, which sold at auction in April 2009 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,269.71).

Die Arbeit Photographing Herself - 2009 von David Drebin wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Photography Collection of Amedeo M. Turello bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Drebin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Movie Star beobachtet, die im April 2009 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.269,71) versteigert wurde.
