Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by David Deutsch could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Colossal! Monumental Works from the 1980s auction, the work Curved Antennas changed hands for USD 875.00 (€ 786.16) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Deutsch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Innovative Landscape #23 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,219.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Deutsch konnte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Colossal! Monumental Works from the 1980s wechselte die Arbeit Curved Antennas für USD 875,00 (€ 786,16) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Deutsch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Innovative Landscape #23 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.219,04).
