The work Lilacs In The Hamptons by David Burliuk was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,026.53), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Burliuk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Church in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 322,900.00 (€ 452,143.54).

Die Arbeit Lilacs In The Hamptons von David Burliuk kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.026,53) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Burliuk erzielen.
