This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Post-War British Art at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Bomberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Church Of The Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,224,900.00 (€ 1,744,688.09).
