Sold at the lower estimate price
In May last year Il Ponte held the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea, which included the work Senza titolo by David Alfaro Siqueiros. The result of EUR 15,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Alfaro Siqueiros achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paisaje Rojo (Abstracción) in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 425,000.00 (€ 385,697.43).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von David Alfaro Siqueiros zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Alfaro Siqueiros erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paisaje Rojo (Abstracción) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 425.000,00 (€ 385.697,43).
